The suburbs of north east London have been enjoying a particularly strong rise in house sales. Snaresbrook, Upminster, Walthamstow and Stoke Newington have seen transactions rise significantly during lockdown. Government assistance with the stamp duty holiday and ‘help to buy’ has certainly helped.
